This 10 minute caramelized mushroom toast is perfect for an easy breakfast, lunch or dinner. Lately has been difficult for me and my boyfriend to have something delicious, savory and easy in the morning. We are not big fan of porridge so we always try new things for breakfast.
This mushroom toast is easy and you can eat it with guacamole, hummus, plant based yogurt, mayo or like we did with tahini sauce. Either way it is delicious and rich in proteins. You can also eat it as is because the mushrooms turn out to be delicious combined with soy sauce and lemon juice.

First put a skillet over medium heat, add the oil and let it heat. When the oil is heated, add the mushrooms. Try not to stir them very much so they caramelize and become brown on both sides. Meanwhile toast the bread on toaster.
After 5 minutes that the mushrooms have been cooked, add the garlic and let it cook with mushrooms for another 2 minutes. Add salt, pepper, thyme, soy sauce and give a final stir. Remove from heat and add the lemon juice. Serve it with a spread of your choice and add hemp or pumpkin seeds.
