We used to eat lots of porridge but sometimes it becomes boring if you make the same recipe over and over again. I’ve come up with an interesting recipe so we can eat our porridge and enjoy it! Combining cocoa, peanut butter, oats, banana, and strawberries.
The result is a creamy delicious chocolaty porridge that you can eat all day.
Porridge is an easy recipe that we cook for breakfast even when we are in a hurry. During winter time porridge is a must in our home. Not only because it is healthy and keeps you full during the day but also it is the first thing to warm your stomach in the morning.
When my sister visits, the only thing she asks me to cook is porridge. Sometimes I make porridge for her as breakfast, lunch, and dinner changing its flavors. Porridge is also a versatile recipe when you can include your superfoods also. When I make cocoa porridge once in a while I put a tbsp of maca to give it a special caramel taste or 1/2 tsp of reishi powder.

- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1 cup almond milk
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 banana, sliced
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp cocoa
- 1 tbsp peanut butter
- sprinkle of vanilla
- pinch of salt
- Combine all the ingredients in a pot and let it cook on medium heat for 10 minutes until the oats become creamy.
- You can add any topping but I prefer coconut, strawberries, and peanut butter combo.
- I tried it also with coconut sugar and the result is the same, delicious!
